Dietary Reset Plan (7-10 days)

Pre-cleanse 2-5 days* before kitchari begin to eliminate:

  • alcohol

  • sugary coffee creamers

  • option to wean off coffee (if you choose not to thats ok)

  • all oils except ghee, olive or organic coconut oil

  • processed foods

  • slowly eliminate all meat 2 days before cleanse day 1

  • added sugar

  • gluten/wheat

  • dairy/eggs

  • beans

  • tomato, eggplant, peppers

  • stop taking any dietary supplements* and vitamins for the duration of the cleanse

What to eat during pre-cleanse as you slowly eliminate the above foods replace with:

  • herbal teas/green tea

  • coffee replacement use mushroom coffee as needed

  • veggie soups

  • steamed veggies, sweet potato, squash, steamed white potato

  • organic gluten-free oatmeal w/ cooked fruit

  • Quinoa with veggies

  • white fish and shrimp for protein

  • cooked fruit

  • fruit smoothies or veggie smoothies

  • avocados

  • dates, figs, a few nuts ok

Kitchari Cleanse Days (3 consecutive days)

Post- Cleanse 2-5 days after kitchari

  • reintroduce animal proteins/dairy/eggs slowly and in small portions

  • look for troublemakers

  • observe how you feel (physically and mentally)

  • follow Vital 8 basics (new habits)
