Nutrient deficiencies can cause exhaustion, fatigue and disrupt your sleep.

First thing you can do is get a blood test. Consider going to a functional medicine/naturepathic doctor. They can order the correct tests based on your reported symptoms. Also they know how to read the bloodwork results and MOST important, prescribe supplements and treatments that will actually help you heal your body instead of just treating symptoms.

Common deficiencies in the following nutrients have been linked to fatigue:

  • iron

  • riboflavin (vitamin B2)

  • niacin (vitamin B3)

  • pantothenic acid (vitamin B5)

  • pyridoxine (vitamin B6)

  • folate (vitamin B9)

  • vitamin B12

  • vitamin D

  • vitamin C

  • magnesium

Also important to supplement: take in electrolytes as many of us are dehydrated and deficient in potassium, sodium, magnesium and zinc
